CHANGE Recruitment went into administration before its assets were sold on the same day to venture capitalist Paul Atkinson’s Head Group, it has emerged.

The appointment of an administrator to the Glasgow-based firm was confirmed in a document filed at Companies House. The move was not mentioned in the media release announcing the sale.

Details of the administration, including monies which may have been owed to creditors, have still to be publicly disclosed.

Tom MacLennan of FRP Advisory, who was appointed joint administrator of Change Recruitment on May 15, said: “The deal is an excellent outcome for both companies as it brings together the resources and reach of two of Scotland’s leading recruitment brands.”
