THE two-year old Drum Income Plus REIT saw its net asset value make a total return of 6.1 per cent during the six months to the end of March, with a flight to quality meaning its properties are properties let to good covenants on long leases.

As its name suggests the trust is focused on delivering dividend income. In the six-month period it declared two interim dividends of 1.375p, representing a rise of 4.8 per cent on the payments made during the same period last year.

Chairman John Evans said the board is targeting aggregate quarterly dividends of at least 5.5p for the full year.
