Dawson facing pensions pain as staff numbers fall

BRITISH Airways has been called a large pension scheme with an airline attached, but for Scotland’s Dawson International the scenario is even more extreme.

Dawson is now a large pension scheme supported by a once-huge textile business employing over 12,000, now reduced to a tiny niche operator with fewer than 200 employees.
