Put more money in the pocket of workers and you put more cash into the economy
At the National Economic Forum meeting on Wednesday, the First Minister deployed some striking language when registering his fear over the potential impact of public spending cuts: “Huge swathes of demand are about to be stripped from the Scottish economy.”
