Minoan boss has high hopes for Toronto flights

DUNCAN Wilson, chief executive of travel company Minoan, has revealed his hopes that twice-weekly direct flights between Glasgow and Toronto unveiled by partner Sunwing Travel for next summer could turn into a daily service in future years.

Mr Wilson, who noted that Minoan was Sunwing’s general sales agent and exclusive partner in Scotland, also declared they were looking at the possibility of incorporating services to Vancouver in future – and weighing potential Atlantic coast destinations such as Halifax or St John’s.
