Aberdeen Asset Management has bought out SVG Capital's stake in their joint venture vehicle for £29 million.
Aberdeen SVG Private Equity Managers was formed in April 2013 when Aberdeen acquired a 50.1per cent stake in Aberdeen SVG Private Equity from SVG with the option of acquiring the remaining 49.9per cent stake. The group said the majority of the joint team would be fully integrated into its private equity operation, led by Graham McDonald, creating a team of over 20 investment professionals overseeing total assets of £6billion.
