ABERDEENSHIRE-based subsea specialist Aleron has won contracts worth a total £2 million to supply remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) systems and equipment to two Indonesian companies.

Aleron, which was established in 2010 by Mike Bisset and employs 20 people, said that a technician from the company would be present throughout the projects in Indonesia to offer dedicated support.

Commenting on the latest business wins for his company, managing director Mr Bisset said: "Aleron has continued to win contracts throughout 2015, and the latest contract wins display our commitment to providing clients within the offshore and marine industry responsive, efficient and cost-effective ROV solutions."

Aleron has eight "work class" ROV systems. The company noted that it offered full contract support for the supply, service and maintenance of complete ROV systems and their associated equipment.

The firm said it had been awarded the contracts following the successful completion of a project using a ROV system on a vessel in Indonesia.
