Aggreko to supply World Cup

AGGREKO has confirmed it will supply 50 megawatts of temporary power to support the broadcast of the football World Cup in Brazil this summer.

Around 12MW will be used for the International Broadcast Centre which is being housed in the Riocentro exhibition centre in Rio de Janeiro. The remainder is being spread around the 12 stadiums being used for the tournament.

Aggreko will also provide temperature control solutions at each location to make sure sensitive equipment does not overheat.
