Aircraft Medical, the Edinburgh-based medical devices company, has hired Philippa Montgomerie as in-house legal counsel and board member.
She joins from global law firm DLA Piper, where she was a partner in the UK intellectual property group, advising some of the world's largest life science companies on issues including patent strategy, commercial agreements and regulatory compliance. She has advised Aircraft on its commercial agreements and various regulatory and IP assignments and has been adviser to the Scottish Stem Cell Network.
