CHANGE Recruitment Group has made a string of senior appointments as it positions itself for growth in the coming year.

The Glasgow-based firm has hired three senior figures from rival Hudson, in addition to making an internal promotion. The changes follow a restructuring of the business by group managing director Mark McFall, who joined the 65-strong Change group last year.

Matt Warder has joined the firm, which has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, as head of energy and professional services, with Mark Wilson arriving to lead its global accountancy and finance division.

Change has also hired Steve Beck as operations manager, and promoted Scott Taylor to divisional manager for its accountancy and finance arm. Mr Taylor has been with Change since 2007, initially as a recruiter before becoming a team leader.

Mr McFall has presided over a series of strategic changes since joining the firm to position it for growth. He pledged to grow the company's headcount by 20 per cent to 25 per cent as it moves into new markets this year, in addition to opening a new office in Edinburgh.

Mr McFall said: "Following a period of restructure and investment in the infrastructure of the company, we are now well positioned to move forward positively.

"This senior team has the drive, ethics, talent and passion to give the business a re-energised focus which will deliver both the growth we want to achieve, and the quality and attention to detail that our clients demand."

He added: "It's an exciting time to be at Change, and we look forward to seeing the evolution of the business taking place over the coming year."
