Angel earnings warning sends share price down

SHARES in Angel Biotechnology Holdings fell more than 10% after it warned contract delays and difficult markets will impact on full-year earnings.

The shares ended the day down 0.01p at 0.08p.

The company, which has a manufacturing facility at the Pentlands Science Park near Edinburgh, is seeing more inquiries for its services, but these have not yet turned into commercial contracts. Angel said a deal with TransGenRx, initially estimated at £800,000, to make a product related to immune system functions was still in place but the US firm was not "currently in a position to proceed".
