LERWICK Port Authority has allocated £5.6 million of harbour improvement contracts to Tulloch Developments.
More than £3m of the work on Shetland involves land reclamation, a new quay and an upgraded fish market.
A 151-metre-long quay – with a deeper water depth for larger vessels – is expected to be finished in July next year while construction on the new market building is pencilled in for 2014.
