BAE to work on Korean planes

BAE Systems has been selected to carry out upgrades and systems work for South Korea's fleet of more than 130 F-16 aircraft, the defence contractor announced.

BAE said that services now account for half of group revenue and, while the operating environment remained challenging, it continued to win new business. The latest contract was brokered via the US defence department's foreign military sales programme and work will be carried out at Forth Worth, Texas.
