Balfour Beatty to build school

BALFOUR Beatty has won the contract to build what will become the largest high school in Edinburgh.

The £28 million Portobello High School will have capacity for around 1,400 pupils and cover more than 16,800 square metres.

Main construction starts in October with the school due to open in August 2016.
