ABERDEENSHIRE-based Bancon Group has announced the appointment of commercial development specialist Gavin Currie as managing director of its construction business, and reported it has secured new contracts valued at £5 million.
Mr Currie, an industry veteran who has most recently been commercial construction director at Dandara in Aberdeen, will succeed George Parsons.
Bancon said Mr Parsons was retiring from his post after 12 years with the company.
