CRAFT Beer Clan, the company set up by wholesaler JW Filshill to promote Scottish beers abroad, has expanded its roster to 19 breweries.

The enterprise, now targeting Scandinavia, Dubai, Japan, Canada and the US after initially focusing on Asia Pacific, has added brewers such as West and Drygate in Glasgow, Caledonian in Edinburgh, Fyne Ales in Argyll and Loch Lomond Brewery to the clan. The latest additions join original members Williams Bros of Alloa, Eden Brewery of St Andrews, Perth's Inveralmond Brewery and the Deeside Brewery of Banchory.

Craft Beer Clan, which aims to have an annual turnover of £2.5 million within five years, is now also looking to boost members' sales in the domestic convenience store market.
