BoS sets up team to advise legal firms

BANK of Scotland has set up a dedicated in-house team to advise people running legal firms on their financial options.

The 10 specialists all had to go through a practice management course run by the Law Society of Scotland.

That training also has to be completed by all potential partners in Scottish law firms and covers areas such as financial compliance, professional indemnity insurance, professional ethics and client accounts rules.
