ORKNEY Brewery is making its Skull Splitter ale available on draft in the US for the first time.
Launch events are being held in Philadelphia and New York City this month before a wider roll-out.
Norman Sinclair, managing director of Orkney Brewery parent company Sinclair Breweries, said: "Bottled Skull Splitter has always been hugely popular in the US, so creating a draft version was the next logical step for us.
"The market in the US for high quality, hand crafted and distinctive beers is very strong."
