Broker breaks the £20m mark

Independent broker GS Insurance and Financial Services is set to exceed £20 million in premium income this year, with its Glasgow operation accounting for almost one-third of that.

Founded in Perth in 1992, the company has expanded into Glasgow and Falkirk, and will shortly open an office in Dundee

Owner and managing director George Stubbs said: "In a very competitive market people are turning away from large, faceless organisations and are returning to the days when you met your insurance man face to face and the relationship was one of trust."
