Carillion wins £90m contract

CONSTRUCTION firm Carillion won a £90 million contract to build two residential tower blocks in London's Royal Docks after being appointed by property developer HUB.

The towers will be 24 and 23 storeys high and are scheduled for completion in autumn 2016. It comes as they push for a £3 billion merger with rival Balfour Beatty.
