THE fast-growing accounting software provider FreeAgent has signed up 2,000 clients in one deal.
The Edinburgh company, which placed eighth in Deloitte's Fast 50 index last year, specialises in providing cloud services for freelancers and small businesses. Now it has struck an agreement for its platforms to be used by Hertfordshire-based accountancy firm JSA.
Ed Molyneux, the chief executive and co-founder of FreeAgent, said: "JSA are one of the UK's most highly-regarded practices providing accounting services to contractors, so passing this milestone with them is a fantastic achievement.
"Contractor accounting is a notoriously competitive market, and JSA had already built a formidable reputation on the quality and responsiveness of their service."
Total customer number for FreeAgent are now more than 35,000.
