Dana handed new licences

DANA Petroleum has been awarded two new licences in the UK North Sea.

Paul ­Griffin, Dana's UK ­managing director, said the oil and gas firm has made two discoveries in the UK North Sea this year and five in the last three years.

Aberdeen-based Dana was bought by the Korea National Oil Corporation for £1.9bn in 2010.
