Drum Property Group, based in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, floats its own real estate investment trust on the main market today.

The Drum Income Plus REIT, which has raised £31.9 million, will target commercial property assets in strong regional locations across the UK. It will be managed by Drum, with Turcan Connell Asset Management acting as cornerstone investor and adviser. Drum was set up by managing director Graeme Bone in 2004 and has a £1billion portfolio. It has enjoyed a steady growth specialising in the creation of large development schemes and the construction and redevelopment of buildings across the UK.
