ARRANGLEN, the investment vehicle for the Easdale family, has acquired a commercial property in Greenock for around £800,000.

The unoccupied Lyle Building, which was built in 1998, has parking for more than 20 vehicles, a warehouse of almost 16,000 square feet and close to 5,000 square feet of office space.

A spokesperson for Arranglen said: "The Easdale family remain committed to investing in their home town of Greenock and the recent purchase of the Lyle Building is testament to that."

Arranglen also owns bus company McGill's and window manufacturer Blairs which are both based in Greenock.

At the start of 2013 Arranglen bought the Holt Court and Victory Court office buildings in Greenock for a total of £1.2 million.
