LOGIC Energy, the Hillington-based specialists in renewable energy monitoring equipment founded by Eduardo Estelles, has been shortlisted for the Shell Springboard Awards, the prize for the UK-based SMEs with the most commercially-viable and innovative business ideas to reduce carbon emissions.
The Springboard awards, worth £40,000, will be awarded at ceremonies in Edinburgh, Manchester and London next month.
Estelles, originally from Valencia in Spain, is the inventor of a range of monitoring devices and accompanying software, that allow wind farms to be remotely monitored for cost efficiency and safety on online "dashboards" in real time.
