A four-STRONG team of headhunters are launching their own executive search business after leaving recruitment firm Munro.

Ken Dalgleish, Donogh O'Brien, Catriona Mackie and Nigel Fortnum had been operating as a separate entity within Munro for the past 18 months.

Now Aspen is predicted to reach £1m turnover in its first 12 months and has just moved into premises on St Vincent Street in Glasgow.

Mr Dalgleish, managing director of Aspen, aims to double fee income across the next three years.

The founders plan to focus on executive and non-executive director level appointments across the private, public and third sectors ranging from small and medium enterprises up to listed companies.

Mr O'Brien has been in executive search for more than 20 years with experience of education, the NHS, government, charities and social enterprise.

Ms Mackie joined Munro Consulting in 2009 and had previously been with National Australia Group and VisitScotland.

Mr Fortnum has spent 17 years in recruitment in industries including agriculture and food and drink..
