Failed creative zone gets redrawn

Scottish Enterprise has been forced to revamp plans for the land surrounding the BBC Scotland headquarters at Pacific Quay in Glasgow after its original plan failed to attract enough demand from developers.

With much of the land surrounding the old docks to the east of Govan still derelict seven years after the original blueprint was launched by the development agency, the relaunch is being backed with a new marketing drive, branded Creative Clyde, in a fresh attempt to realise the vision for a major creative industries cluster in the area.
