Firm to open showroom after funding

A BUSINESS that provides decor for events is opening a new showroom after securing bank funding.

The Blue Parrot Company, which hires out a variety of items, such as linen, props as well as photobooths, said that the site, which is on the outskirts of Glasgow is around six times bigger than its existing premises in East Kilbride.

The company, which was founded by Greg Anderson in 2007, is reported to have taken a six-figure commercial mortgage from Royal Bank of Scotland to fund the deal.

Mr Anderson said: "The showroom is designed to demonstrate how we can transform a room."
