A FREE travel, lifestyle and business publication is being launched next month by Glasgow Airport and Herald and Times Group, publisher of The Herald, Sunday Herald, Evening Times and an award-winning magazine portfolio including The Scottish Farmer.

High Flyer, the official customer magazine for Glasgow Airport, will serve as a guide for air passengers to destinations at home and abroad, with particular emphasis on its home city.

The glossy publication will focus on Glasgow's cultural life, including its arts and museums, and highlight the new routes and destinations the airport serves, complete with travel ideas and advice.

It will feature interviews with leading Glasgow business and entertainment personalities, and round up the latest shops and duty free products on offer in the airport.

Edited by Karen Peattie, the launch issue of High Flyer will be published in May and distributed throughout June, with 10,000 copies available both airside and landside within the airport.

The magazine will be distributed to selected venues in Glasgow city centre, with the first issue available within a full run of the Sunday Herald and issue two included with The Herald in September.

A digital edition will be free to read on all mobile and tablet devices, including iPad and iPhone.

Magazine publisher Darren Bruce said: "We are extremely pleased and proud to be working closely with Glasgow Airport to publish their customer magazine, High Flyer."
