GA, which has enjoyed a hike in annual turnover from £3m to £12m with three years of strong growth, unveiled its plans as Scottish Finance Secretary John Swinney visited its head office yesterday.
It has secured the finance from Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance and Bank of Scotland.
GA, which manufactures precision components for the oil and gas, chemical, computer, nuclear, medical and machine-tool industries, is launching a training academy at its Dundee headquarters which will take in 60 apprentices over the next five years.
Managing director Gordon Deuchars cited increased demand for GA's "specialist engineering capabilities".
He said the company had adapted to uncertain trading conditions and highlighted strategic investments.
