GAEL, the compliance, safety, risk and performance software specialist, has been acquired by information management firm Ideagen.
The deal boosts Gael's capability by strengthening its position in key markets and gives it the capacity to deliver its growth plans to 2020 and beyond.
East Kilbride-based Gael is active in the transport, manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare and energy sectors, providing software to clients such as Emirates, Virgin Rail, G4S and Dairy Crest. And it said the Ideagen deal will boost its presence in these areas as well as complementary sectors.
The acquisition also gives in new operational centres in the US and elsewhere in the world.
