Glacier takes on six new trainees

GLACIER Energy Services Engineering, the oil services specialist, has taken on six trainees in an ongoing regeneration project in Glasgow's east end.

The company recruited the welding, production management and administrative trainees in partnership with Clyde Gateway, a body leading efforts to boost job prospects for residents in the area alongside Jobs & Business Glasgow.

The trainees were appointed after impressing Glacier at an open event for promising individuals who until then had limited career opportunities.
