Glasgow boost for businesses

THOUSANDS of Glasgow's small business owners and entrepreneurs come together this week in a bid to boost the local economy with the return of Glasgow for Business Week – a five-day programme of free events to support start-ups and SMEs.

Issues including crowd-sourced funding, cloud computing and cashflow are on the agenda as homegrown entrepreneurs, industry experts and academics feature in seminars, workshops and networking events across the city, with support from public and private-sector organisations.
