The recently opened £9 million extension at Glasgow Fort is "trading well", according to property operator British Land.
A Vue cinema along with five restaurants - TGI, Chiquito, Prezzo, Pizza Express and Harvester - opened at the 45,000 square feet space in the late summer.
Other tenants to move to Glasgow Fort in recent months include Schuh, Jack & Jones, Chisholm Hunter and Office.
A plan to add a further 112,000 sq ft of retail space at Glasgow Fort is also on the drawing board with the total value of the project estimated to be around £17m.
British Land indicated a proposed 55,000 sq ft extension at the Fort Kinnaird site - featuring a new cinema and department store - in Edinburgh remains in the planning system.
The Jersey-based Hercules Unit Trust owns both Fort Kinnaird and Glasgow Fort and is advised by British Land.
In the half-year to September 30 underlying pre-tax profits at British Land rose 6.6% from £137m to £146m while the value of the UK portfolio increased 2.2% to almost £11.2 billion.
Chris Grigg, chief executive, believes the company is benefiting from decisions to reshape its portfolio and increase its exposure to the London market. He said: "Our business is in good shape and we are executing smartly, with conviction and according to plan."
