Scotland's top economic adviser Andrew Goudie, who retires from the Scottish Government at the end of this month, is to join the University of Strathclyde with a brief to promote it's international profile.

Dr Goudie, 56, will join the Glasgow seat of learning’s School of Government and Public Policy in a non-teaching role, where he will “contribute to debate around the Scottish economy and policy” as well as advising Strathclyde Principal Dr Jim McDonald and his team on the university’s ambitious internationalisation strategy.
