GRAHAM's the Family Dairy has had to increase production and distribution to meet festive demand for its products.

Sales of double and single cream in December are said to be running 25% ahead at almost 444,500 litres.

Butter sales are 15% up while the Graham's Gold range of milk has seen 10% growth on last December.

Marketing director Carol Graham said: "This has been the busiest year ever.

"We never really close because the cows always need to be cared for and milked, but the past few weeks we have been flat-out at the dairy to ensure everyone has the milk, cream and butter they wanted for their Christmas celebrations."

The family-owned company, based at Bridge of Allan, recorded turnover of £56 million in its most recent financial year, up from £49.6m.
