HMV Group, the embattled high-street retailer, has issued a third profits warning this year but said it has won more time from Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group to secure its survival.
The company, which owns 731 HMV, Waterstone’s and Fopp stores across the UK, said its banks had agreed to put back financial tests from the end of April to the beginning of July.
The group operates 19 HMV stores, three Fopp outlets and 20 Waterstone’s stores in Scotland.
