Jeweller opens Fort store

INDEPENDENT jeweller Chisholm Hunter is creating 11 jobs with the opening of its 19th store.

The Glasgow Fort site, which starts trading today, follows a few weeks after a unit opened in the Bluewater centre in Kent. Director Tracey Brown said trading there was exceeding expectations and the company is considering further locations.

She said: "We are very encouraged by Bluewater's success and are confident that the new store in the Glasgow Fort will be equally well received."
