A RECENTLY launched laundry and dry cleaning app has chosen Edinburgh as its first market in the UK after the service debuted in London, writes Scott Wright.
Laundrapp, available through iPhone, iPad and Android devices, allows people to order laundry services and have their cleaned items delivered to their homes.
Its owners say the Edinburgh launch means Laundrapp is the first service of its kind to offer a national on-demand service. The app will be launched in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester in the coming weeks.
Co-founder and chief executive, Ed Relf, formerly of the company behind kids toy Moshi Monsters, said: "We're thrilled to be unveiling the expansion of Laundrapp so soon after the initial successful London launch. We've been overwhelmed by the positive response in London and we're pleased to be able to bring the Laundrapp experience to five UK cities."
