Laura Ashley raises £8m

Clothing and home furnishings retailer Laura Ashley has raised £8 million by selling its entire 9.57% stake in Moss Bros after the menswear firm posted a sparkling Christmas update.

A stock market filing showed Laura Ashley sold its holding for 85p per share. It first started building a stake in 2008 at around 45p per share.
