LAW firm TLT has signalled its intention to expand in Scotland by moving to larger premises in Edinburgh and revealing plans to double its team in the capital city.

The firm moved into Scotland when it merged with Glasgow-based Anderson Fyfe last year, in a move designed to boost its presence in the financial services sector.

Now it is planning to grow its Edinburgh head count from five to 10 and expand its office in Glasgow as it continues to invest north of the Border.

TLT, which employs a total of 750 staff across its offices in Belfast, Bristol, London, Manchester and Scotland, said it is actively looking for staff to strengthen its team in Edinburgh, where it its new office is on Hanover Street.

Tom McEntegart, head of TLT's Scottish practice, said: "The Scottish legal market has seen significant upheaval and mergers in recent years.

"At TLT we see lots of potential for development and now is an ideal time to grow and strengthen our presence in key sectors such as financial services, renewables, leisure and retail.

"We are very keen to recruit and are looking for innovative, motivated individuals to help TLT expand its presence in Scotland and develop our national service lines."
