CHEESE company Lactalis McLelland has reported a 15% rise in turnover from £181.9 million to £209.2m according to accounts filed at Companies House.
The maker of the Seriously Strong and President brie brands, which has a large operation in Stranraer plus a creamery on Orkney and a major factory at Chard in Somerset, saw pre-tax profits increase 71% from £3.1m to £5.3m in 2011.
