FORMER Morrisons boss Dalton Philips has received a cash bonus of more than £1 million for his final year with the company.
Mr Phillips stepped down in February this year with the company's annual report revealing he was paid £2.1m for the 2014/15 financial year.
His total included an £850,000 basic salary as well as benefits and pension payments worth £239,000.
The annual report states Mr Phillips will receive payments in lieu of base salary, pension supplement and benefits during his 12 month notice period which expires in January 2016.
