BANK note printer De La Rue has said underlying profits slumped 31 per cent to £26.2 million in the six months to September 27 due to overcapacity in the currency market and slower new business in its solutions and secure documents unit.
The firm said its markets will continue to be affected in the second half of this year and into 2015.
