BOOKMAKER William Hill and its partner GVC Holdings have tabled a revised offer for online gaming firm Sportingbet.
A deal worth around £530 million was understood to be in the pipeline until Sportingbet produced less than stellar quarterly financial results last week.
The new proposal values the business at £485m and a conditional agreement has been reached.
The parties have been granted an extension until December 18 to finalise details of the deal.
