North Sea boost for Wood Group

WOOD Group has continued to benefit from strong North Sea activity levels in spite of the fall in oil prices this year.

The Aberdeen-based oil services giant said it had delivered good growth in the year to date and remained confident of meeting analysts' expectations for 2012.

The price of Brent crude has fallen from $128 (£82) a barrel to around $95 per barrel this year amid global economic uncertainty.
