INTU Properties has said it is making good progress in renewing the leases at the Braehead shopping centre which are scheduled to expire this year.

Leases equivalent to around one third of the passing rent at the Glasgow mall are up this year but Intu said long-term deals for around 60 per cent of the expiries have been signed or are in the hands of solicitors. Braehead's occupancy was put at 92 per cent, which was below Intu's average of 96 per cent.
