Regus faces £1m bill on Maxim as court sides with BoS

WORKPLACE services firm Regus faces a bill of close to £1 million after losing a legal battle with the Bank of Scotland over fit-out fees for offices at the Maxim business park in Lanarkshire.

The firm has appealed the decision.

Regus sued the bank over its refusal to hand over £913,172 that had been set aside by park owner, Tritax, to cover the cost of Regus' fit-out after it signed a lease for office space in autumn 2009.
