RENEWABLE energy specialist Scot Heat and Power has formed a partnership with Cochran the boiler-maker to develop large biomass projects.

Broxburn-based Scot Heat and Power supplies biomass fuel stock such as wood chips that could be used in boilers made by Cochran, which has headquarters in Annan. Scot Heat and Power said working together the firms would be able to target a wider market. They expect to offer integrated systems that would qualify for support under the UK government Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.
