Rentokil unveils emerging markets boost

Rentokil Initial said its pest control operation saw strong revenues growth in the first six months of the year, with demand from emerging markets offsetting challenging conditions in Europe.

Chief executive Andy Ransom said the group's six month-old turnaround strategy was paying off, with adjusted profits up 2.2% to £77.5 million and revenues ahead 1.5% at constant exchange rates.
